Recipe: Butternut Lasagna, Primal Style from City PaleoPosted: Sep 23, 2014
I usually do most of my cooking on the weekends, and this was an experimental recipe that went over very well. We all said we’d like to have it again. That’s the tried and true test for any recipe to make it into the blog recipe archive… do I want to make it again?
What we eat is about 80% paleo, but I do believe the primal lifestyle has a logical stance on raw cheeses. Therefore, you’ll see a few recipes seep in from time time time that incorporate some of these raw cheeses. Here in Philadelphia, we’re able to pick them up from Whole Foods and the Reading Terminal Market. Availability of these fine gems will vary depending on location. To learn more about the primal theory on cheese, check out this post “Is Cheese Unhealthy?” from Mark Sisson, author of The Primal Blueprint.
Without further ado, the cheese is optional for all of you hard core paleo enthusiasts out there. This is a tasty dish.
